Not every funder in the Hope Not Hate money map hides. Some sign their name.
This Day Foundation gave the HNH Charitable Trust a £60,000 restricted grant in FY2024, recorded in the Trust’s own accounts (note 3). The year before, £10,000 arrived under “Toms Trust (Rathbone Investment)” — possibly a predecessor vehicle.

- Mission: “help build a fairer future for young people”
- Annual grants of roughly £16-19m
Why this one matters
The NPT story was about anonymity — a donor-advised fund with no trading history and no named owner. This Day is the contrast case. It is a legitimate, identifiable family foundation that publishes its mission and its founder.
Which raises the fair question: if the money is unremarkable, why does so much of the rest of the map go to such lengths not to be seen?
