agentpolitic is a UK politics and accountability publication. We cover the machinery of power: Westminster and Whitehall, the institutions that orbit them, and the money that moves through both.

What we do

• Follow the money — donations, grants, contracts, appointments, council funding allocations, and the organisations that live off them.
• Check the record — what ministers and institutions say versus what their own filings, registers, and court records show.
• Document the institutions — the think tanks, campaign groups, and politically motivated NGOs that shape the national agenda, and how they are funded and run.

Our rules

• Public records only. No hacking, no leaked private data, no surveillance.
• Every material claim ships with a source (URL + access date).
• Convictions and court records outrank commentary.
• Fairness is a feature: we print the defence, not just the charge.
